The CET1 exam is a computerized English proficiency certification exam with immediate results. It is aligned with the Common European Framework and has an official record of valid studies according to the Ministry of Public Education, under agreement SEG/0021/2021.
Characteristics:
- It is an accreditation exam that can be taken by people aged 14 and over.
- The exam is not a failing grade; it only measures your English level from levels A1 to C2.
- Its items, referenced to the Common European Framework (CEFR), assess levels from A1 to C2 of its scale, with their corresponding equivalencies to evaluation instruments such as: TOEFL (IBT, ITP), Cambridge (KET, PET, FCE, CAE), IELTS, CENNI revalidation and TOEIC, among others.
- It does not require a preparation or training course to take the exam; the exam can be taken at any time.
- It is an English exam adapted to the needs of use around the world.
- The result is obtained immediately after completing the exam.
- Approximate duration 90 minutes.
- The exam is taken online from your home or office, and you need a computer with an internet connection and a microphone.
- The CET1 online certification exam provides valuable performance indicators for institutions to assess their English language programs.
The CET1 exam is divided into four sections:
- Reading Comprehension
- Listening Comprehension
- Use of English
- Oral production (Speaking)
